The Travel Brochure Project
In this project, we made travel brochure's for spanish speaking countries, written in spanish. I chose Argentina. We were required to include and explain throughly three places you can visit and the history of Argentina. Here is what it looks like:

The Recipe Project
In this project, we were required to pick any latin dish and write a recipe in spanish. We also had to bring in our dish for our classmates to taste! I chose to make Alfajores! Here is what it looks like:

The Puppet Project
In this project, students in groups of two were required to make sock puppets and create a 90 second dialogue video using the verbs hablar (to talk), gustar (to like), comer (to eat), querer (to want), tener (to have), vivir (to live), ser and estar (to be). CLICK HERE to view my group's video.

VIA Venues Project:
In this project, in groups of four, students were required to create a video in spanish with english subtitles introducing our school, High Tech High International. My group members were Kalista Hayes, Alicia Dukes and Lance Wiggins.

Haiku Project:
In this project, students in groups of two were required to write a haiku in spanish, which is a poem that has 3 lines. The first line consists of 5 syllables. The second line consists of 7 and the last line consists of 5 again. We also had to choose a picture to go with the poem. My partner chose a picture from our humanities camping trip to Anza Borrego.

Yo Estoy Transpirando
Tengo Mucha Sed

Creative Master Project
In this project, students were required to identify a passion and pick a spanish speaking creative master that exemplifies that passion. We then did research on this chosen person and created an artistic mind map and presentation about them and how they relate to our passion. My Creative Master was Shakira because my passion is singing. As the final product, we created a re-expression influenced by our creative master and passion.
